2023 Royal Hobart Show Results

The Royal Hobart Show (Angora Goats Section) was held at the Campbell Town Showgrounds on Saturday, November 4. There were no entries for animal judging, so only fleeces were judged. Unfortunately the nominated judge Vicki Winley, had to isolate due to her husband Peter, coming down with a COVID infection (and we all thought that was behind us!). Steve Baldock stepped in to fill the breech. Thank you Steve. The results of the fleece judging was as follows –

Congratulations to Mary Orledge & Colin Sylvester for the Champion Fleece and to Brian Smith for the Reserve Champion Fleece. The animal entries had to be withdrawn due to Brian Smith being hospitalised due to a short stint in hospital. We trust you have well and truly recovered Brian.
